These "Full" books by Janet are cute - something fast and fun to read while you're waiting for the next Stephanie Plum to be released. When you're looking for some good giggles, these are the best!

I really enjoyed "Full Scoop."
Having picked this book up, from the middle of a set, I had some catching up to do concerning the characters from previous "Full" books, but I thought the authors handled that very well.
I love the caracters, family, neighbors and friends, and can identify, as will many, with the mother-daughter drama that happens when a bubbley affectionate child becomes a new teen, resentful and disrespectful of her loving mother. and suddenly the "happy home" is full of rebellion and frustration from both generations.
(I like how that was presented from both sides. And who among us can remember how our own mothers embarrassed us at that age?)
Add this side mother-daughter story to a gripping murder mystery, along with humor and romance, and well, I admit, I couldn't put it down. A very fun read.
Now I can't wait to get the rest of the set.

I'm not a fan of Janet Evanovich's other series (isn't it an alphabet theme or something?), but somewhere along the line I picked up this one and was glad I did. It was thoroughly enjoyable -- good writing, interesting characters and a good story line. Another perfect "summer read."

Another fun book for a lazy weekend afternoon....

Beaumont, South Carolina pediatrician Maggie Farnsworth's wild past catches up with her in the form of her ex-boyfriend, a jailbird who's just flown the coop and is intent on tracking down Maggie and her daughter. Things heat up when FBI agent Zack Madden comes on the scene to protect the twosome. Add in an old hound dog named Fleas who's in love with a goat named Butterbean and a resident psychic/astrologer named Destiny and you've got another great Janet Evanovich novel.

The latest book in the full series by Janet Evanovich & Charlotte Hughes. This book is mainly about Maggie, the local pediatrician and her 13 year old daughter. Her ex-boyfriend and father of her daughter has escaped prison and is on his way back to Beaumount to reclaim money that he hid there 14 years ago. Max & Jamie make appearances in the book but are no longer the center of attention.

This is book 6 in a cute romantic series by Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes. Anyone who has read one or two of these stories will surely want to read more. This book introduces a few new characters, but still has some of the favorites such as Fleas the wonder dog, Jaime and Max Holt, and Vera. A light, funny romance.

Things in Beaumont are getting crazy. There's an Elvis convention in town, a goat/dog romance is firing up and Better than Sex ice cream is flying out of the cooler. Dr. Maggie is busy with her pediatric patients when a felon with intimate ties to her past breaks out of prison. What will prove her best protection - Queenie's voodoo, a racoon cap, or the handsome undercover FBI agent, Zack? With this much insanity - you won't be able to put it down.

Dear Reader:There's a whole lot of trouble going on in Beaumont, South Carolina. According to resident psychic-slash-astrologer, Destiny Moultrie, Mercury's in retrograde; Venus is in the seventh house, and the combination has turned Cupid wacko! Chaos rules as tempers flare and lust runs rampant. Newlyweds Max Holt and Jamie Swift-Holt are trying to make a baby, but their recently purchased antebellum mansion is under renovation and filled with feuding contractors. Vera has a crush on her new mailman, and is bent on looking ten years younger. Destiny is marked for marriage by the changing planets, and she's running for her life as the local redneck and bait shop owner is determined to make her his. Meanwhile, local pediatrician Maggie Davenport has considerably bigger problems now that her wild-girl past has caught up in the form of ex-boyfriend and jailbird who just flew the coop-and is determined to track her and her daughter down. If he doesn't expose her secrets, there's a good chance Jamie's editor, intent on getting the Full Scoop, will. Fortunately, FBI agent Zack Madden is on hand for protection; but the new danger is the wild attraction he and Maggie share. Fleas the hound dog is experiencing his first crush on Maggie's adorable and alluring...um...pygmy goat? Add to that an Elvis convention and a local root doctor and hoodoo practitioner who decides it's time she take charge; only to have one of her spells backfire, and you've got a gut-busting, laugh-out-loud story we hope you won't forget! It's just another wild ride in the town we love to write about, and the character's we can't get enough of. So kick off your shoes, sit back, and enjoy a FULL SCOOP of fun, adventure, and romance.Janet and Charlotte

Enjoyed this book immensely. It was wonderfule to meet all the folks in Beaumont again. Jamie has a surprise for everyone. And even Fleas is in love! A cliff hangar with a chuckle a minute...I read it from beginning to end in one sitting, and was sorry to see it end. But I have faith these two mischevious authors will have another story for us next summer.

This was an enjoyable read. Most of the characters from previous Full books are still here, but this one focuses on Maggie, the town's doctor (pediatrician mostly). Carl Lee Stanton, an old boyfriend of Maggie's, has escaped prison and is headed to Beaumont, SC. And an unwelcome visit to Maggie and her daughter Mel is first on his list! Fortunately, a sexy FBI agent has been sent to protect them...

I can't say I like this series as much as the Stephanie Plum books, but they're entertaining nonetheless. One thing I didn't care for though is that towards the end, a few of the characters ignored or overlooked a few important clues that were telling them Carl Lee had arrived in town. I found myself thinking, what'd y'all just take a stupid pill or something? LOL

A bit less zingy than most Evanovich & Hughes offerings, possibly because it's hard to write lighthearted screwball romances involving a vengeful wacko cop-killer stalking his ex-girlfriend and menacing their teenage daughter. Neither suspense nor rom-com, this one just misses the target.
