If you like a sweet romance with an Indian back-drop, this is that kind of book. The main character Soorya grew up in an affluent household in New Jersey, and a successful attorney in her own right, but because of her hang-ups growing up as a plump, plain girl, she has difficulty believing anyone would like her. She's funny, her hang-ups are relateable, and her thought-life is engaging. The romance is sweet, and there's no sex in the book, and being true to the genre, it has a satifying happy ending. I've gotten bored with other romances, and reading one with this cultural setting is refreshing.
