While I'm predisposed to liking books with a full-figured heroine, I have to like the main characters for the book to truly work for me.
I found the two main characters fairly shallow, and self-absorbed, which killed any and all enjoyment I may have had with the book.
While the sex scenes were plentiful, the constant begging for a males swollen anatomy, lead me to grow bored with them.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a prude. I devour malexmale erotica like it's candy, and I don't mind euphemisms for anatomy.
What bores me is it's overuse.
It no longer becomes titillating, it becomes rather tawdry, and cheap.
Much like I felt after reading this book.

The character is not comfortable being full figured so don't believe that part of the description. Page 5 has her "agonizing over which outfits and style of clothing best compliment her".
She hates all blond men due to past relationships, he's blond. He's never been a chubby chaser(my wording being plus sized myself so if you're offended by it - at least I'm not a skinny gal saying it :-D) and can't understand why he's attacted to someone of her size.
This was my first, and last read by this author. I had to force myself to finish it.

This book was a let down for me. Firstly, Jennifer is not at all comfortable with being full-figured. Secondly, descriptive words were very overused and made for kind of a boring ready. Also, the dialog was odd. I really don't think people talk that way, especially in bed.

Conteporary erotic romance from Ellora's Cave. Jennifer is a full figured woman who bids on, and wins a date with Rick. While Rick's ideal woman is a tall, slender blonde, Jennifer rocks his world. This is a sweet romance. I was enjoying this story, up until near the end, when the couple has the expected misunderstanding, and full blown argument. From that point on, the author lost credibility with me. Rick and Jennifer make up, and get back on course. Not a bad story. My only other objection is dialogue. Do people really talk this way? The romance is sweet,the story is fair, the sex scenes are hot, with a nice Happily Ever After ending.
