It's been a while since I read one of Buckley's books due to the fact that I was sort of tiring of Ursula and the gang. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery.
While on a mission to deliver a message from Elizabeth I to the imprisoned Mary, Queen of Scots, Ursula finds herself embroiled in a deadly game. Wonderfully written, enjoyable to read, Buckley brings the Elizabethan Era to life. Definitely one of the better in the series -- I'm off to hunt down my copy of "The Siren Queen" so I can continue Ursula's adventures.

Not one of her best, but still a good read
