I have enjoyed the Frugal Gourmet's books over the years; to me they read almost like a novel. This one does not disappoint. Lots of historical facts along with some unusual recipes, I will be trying some.

This book is fill with ancient recipes, discusses the meaning of food in the Bible, and is filled with anecdotes, proverbs, and stories from the Bible.
