All four of the Frog and Toad books are exceptional in every way. The artwork is beautiful (I painted murals based on the illustrations in this book in my baby daughter's bedroom), and the stories have such a wholesome and wise sense of friendship that they are a delight for adult and child readers alike. This may well be your child's first introduction to the 'odd couple cliche/archetype. A favorite book for elementary school teachers around grades 2 and 3. Highly recommended!

This is a great practice book for beginning readers. It offers just enough to words to stretch their reading skills, yet much of the text is familiar so as not to be too difficult. The antics of best friend Frog and Toad do not fail to entertain the little ones.

Frog and Toad All Year is comprised of five wonderful stories about friendship, one story for each of the four seasons and one story for Christmas. In Down the Hill, Frog takes Toad sledding in the winter snow. In The Corner, Frog and Toad are caught in the rain and Frog tells Toad about the day he found spring as a young pollywog. In Ice Cream, Frog and Toad want ice cream on a hot summer day. In The Surprise, Frog and Toad rake up eachother's leaves as a surprise. In Christams Eve, Toad is worried about Frog when he is late for dinner. Frog and Toad are friends all year long! I loved this book, adorable!
