I LOVED it. Sorrel was vulnerable but strong, someone who wanted to be appreciated for her intelligence and not just seen for her limitations. Philip is all about seeing beneath appearances too. The banter and conversations were so fun, I am so excited about these Jonquil brothers and so frustrated the books aren't easy to come by in my town.
One of the other brother's books better mention if Sorrel pursues treatment because that is my major frustration at the end of this book is it seems to end too soon. Now I want to see what is going on with Layton of course.
Has plenty of love eyes (but not a lot of furthering of their storyline) from Crispin & Catherine from Kiss a Stranger. I had read it but it has been awhile and I didn't keep that one because I didn't like it a ton. This was much better but I probably could have appreciated their presence in this book if I had read the books closer together.
