This is one of Barbara Delinsky's best novels. The characters are real, the story is compelling...it could happen to any one, any family. This is a must read!!

Their lives changed forever once they discovered they were more than friends. Great book.
A very good Delinsky - kept my attention, well-worth my time.
I enjoyed this book very much and would recommend it highly. It is a page turner and keeps you in the middle of the families and their story. I enjoy all of the books I have read from Ms. Delinsky.
I love this book it was so diferent emotions but good story of who one little mistake can ruin the friends that were built over the years.
I love Barbara Delinsky's writing, but can't stomach some of her choices of subjects. This book focuses on two families whose lives are intertwined...the wives were college roommates, the husbands are long-time friends, they vacation together, etc. Within the first few pages of this story, the husband from one family and the wife from the other family engage in spur-of-the moment sex. I had to stop reading right there, as I find this behavior immoral and inexcusable. I don't mind if non-central characters are guilty of these sorts of indiscretions, for example, a story about a woman whose husband was unfaithful. I just don't want to read about main characters who are unfaithful. My personal quirk, and it might save someone from wasting money/credit on this particular title.
This book kept my attention and is a must read book. I loved it.
I couldn't put this down, a really absorbing book.
It took me a long time to get into this story, but it turned out to be a really good read! A bit of a soap opera in its content, it ends up being a "feel good" kind of story! I would describe it as a nice "chick lit" book.
This was a very good book, but then I like all of her books. It didn't disappoint me.
Another good one from Barbara Delinsky. If you like her other books, this won't disappoint.
This book is about a pair of friends who have know eachother since college. Each couple begins to deal with a lot of difficult situations that cause their friendship to be tested in many different ways.
The book started off slow and introdued the characters too quickly to where I was a little confused at first, but towards the middle and the end, it ended up being a very good book in my opinion. I enjoyed reading it.

Very good book.....hard to put it down ! Love Barbara Delinsky!!!
I only jut discovered Barbara Delinsky 3 months ago and this already the 3rd book I've read by her. Like the others, I absolutely LOVED IT!
I hated JD from beginning to end and to me that says a lot about Delinsky's style of writing that sucks you into the story. You feel like you can relate to at least one character and their situation..

This is one of my all time favorites of Barbara Delinsky. I have read it at least 3 times. It never gets old.
As a Delinsky fan, I consider this one of her best books.
Very good, juicy read from Barbara Delinsky. Good beach book.
there lives changed forever once they discovered they were more than just freinds
I loved this book. Its a sad but sweet story about 2 sets of families that have been life long friends, when something terrible tears them apart.
Its about everyone trying to figure out where they stand in their lives, forgiveness and moving forward.

very good
Good story of what can happen to those family friendships we all envy. Two families who vacation together, holiday together and live on ajoining lots. I love Delinsky. This is an oldie but goodie.
One of the best books I've ever read. You immediately get caught up into the lives of the characters and can feel their emotions as though they were your own.
Well developed characters and plot!
I could not put this book down. I fractured my foot so on Saturdays I sit in my wheelchair and read all day long. This is the first time I've read anything by her and this won't be the last. A must forsummer reading.
Fair, wasn't real impressed. Delinsky has done better work.
I really liked this book - I enjoy the type of books that Barbara writes.
this book made me think of what a simple accident can cause so much misunderstanding and how to handle the out come. Love this book

But when their idyllic lives are unexpectedly shattered by a moment that can never be erased or forgotten, their faith in each other-and in themselves-is put to the supreme test. Their story is one that strikes a chord in all of us, embracing as it does the universal passions that life has to offer.
