This is a good book all about how alcohol, specifically wine -- and most specifically red wine -- is okay in moderation and even good for you. The author cites lots of medical studies to back up this idea. He gets down on the anti-alcohol establishment quite a bit, even accusing the (American) government of being unjustifiably anti-alcohol. Easy reading, easy to understand for those interested in this type of thing. There are a few "Mediterranean" food recipes at the end of the book that don't include alcohol.
