I absolutely loved it and didn't want it to end. While the books stands alone, it's much, much better if you read the first one in the series. Well written and easy reading. Even though there's a lot of switching between the past and the present (late 1940s), it's easy to follow and had me totally hooked from the first page.

2nd book in series and I hope there will me more. Picks up where the first one leaves off and has you hooked right off the bat. I loved this book also.
