This book contains two short stories from Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooters series.
Free Fall: The guys of U.S. Navy SEAL Team Sixteen are training by doing high altitude jumps. These jumps out of a plane begin at 30,000 feet and it takes them a long time to actually get their feet back to earth. While jumping, something goes wrong and one of the team members is in danger. Izzy Zanella jumps into action to help save his teammate.
This story was way too short but very entertaining. My rating: 4 Stars.
Home Fire Inferno:
Eden Zanella is on a road trip with Jennilynn Gillman when her car breaks down. They are on a desert road and haven't passed another vehicle for miles. If that isn't bad enough, Jenn's water has just broke and she is in labor. Both ladies keep trying to call for help, but the signal is not strong. Jenn doesn't want her husband to know what is going on because he is on the other side of the world readying for a mission. Eden is worried she'll have to deliver a baby in the back of her car.
Cute story. Many of the Troubleshooters characters are in this book. Too bad it wasn't longer. My rating: 4 Stars.
