This should be a fun new series. This first book was a little rough, only because the wordbuilding was shunted to the side to fit all the action in. So, while I loved everything, I was a bit confused and didn't remember what I assume were early hints that lead to other big things happening. Lots to still learn, left open for new crazy storylines.
Similar in a tiny way to McGuire's Indexing, but completely different world, agents and story. I will read the next one.

I had a hard time getting into this book for the first several chapters. The story line jumps around a lot, and there were several things that weren't really explained very well. Eventually I got drawn in to the story, and I started to like a few of the characters. Once I got past the first third of the book I found it hard to put it down.
I will read the next book in the series, because I am interested to see how the author develops the characters.
