This is a great book. We like to read this on aloud and try out different voices for each animal. Silly and full of new vocabulary for a child. A Favorite!
First in a series of many, Freddy isn't especially the main character in this book, he becomes the leading porker in later books. This was written in 1927, there's still a Freddy the Pig fan club on line.
