This book was a real page turner. I am a scientist, in genetics. I found the frequent discussion about laboratory techniques to be distracting, mainly because they are now so out of date. (The field moves very quickly.) But the book was still one that I zipped through and enjoyed fully. I highly recommend it-intelligent and fun.

I couldn't put it down in the last third. I will say it is very graphic.

Starts slow, but picks up nicely.
Sad but moving.
