Though I'm usually a fan of a quick Bushnell read, and other chick lit books, I found these "short stories" to be absolutely pointless. I made it through the book, and afterwards thought, "Wow, what a waste of my time." Not up to par with her others - I don't recommended it.

I was bored by the middle of the first blonds's story. It may have gotten better, but I was never interested enough to finish it!

I thought this book was just ok. Not great, and definitely not as good as Sex in the City.

Couldn't stand the 2nd, 3rd or 4th stories. The only story I enjoyed was Janey's and I will read Trading Up because I want to know what happens to her. These short stories were pointless and I found the author's writing style horrendous, hard to follow, not to mention overuse of parentheses drove me batty in all but Janey's stories. I would not recommend this book.

This is a great book! A good summer read by the author of Sex in the City.

Didn't enjoy because I was hoping it was more like the TV show.

Sen and the City author Candace Bushnall returns to the playgrounds of Manhattan's powerful and beautiful with her sizzling sensation Four Blondes, which gives an insider's look at the romantic intrigues, liasions, and betrayals among the elite. She chronicles the lives of four beautiful women - a model, a columnist, a socialite, and a writer - as they face turning points in which each must choose between her passions.

This book is not at all like Candaces other books. The book which is four different stories, can be a little hard to read. It is about NY women who are centered on Money, brands, and men.

What you would expect from one of the writers of Sex and the City. Upbeat. Entertaining.

Not as good as Sex in the City but Candace Bushnell was still great!

I found this book to be a little raunchy, but for no good reason. It is a fun book for a plane ride or to pass the time. Enjoy!

This a great book and a really funny read. If you are a fan of Sex and the City, you will love this book.

This book is entertaining in a "Sex and The City" kind of way (author of book is author of the show). Funny and as the San Francisco Chronicle put it, "uncensored!"

An entertaining, sometimes very racy, collection of four stories from the author of "sex and the City." Good beach reading.

Four beautiful blondes - a model, a columnist, a socialite, and a writer - all face turning points in their lives. Another novel by the author of Sex and the City.

By the author of "Sex and the City," this book is 4 short stories about four blondes that seem to have it all....at least on the surface, that is.

I found this book to be a fast read with each of the stories keeping my attention.

Four stories each wonderfully written in their own style. Kudos for Candace!

Could have been subtitled, "Not as dumb as you think they are". Several short stories, filtered with some sarcasm. Read with tongue in cheek, particularly "Nice n' Easy," about a woman who searches every summer for a boyfriend with just the right house in the Hamptons.

4 short stories in one book. Interesting read!

Honestly, this book is not real good. It doesn't really have a plot or overall meaning. But if you like books about different women doing completely different things in their life than you will like this book. Not one of my favorites, for sure.

Great chick lit book , this was the book that they used to base Sex and the City. She also wrote the Lipstick Jungle.

Just wanted to say that this paperbook has a few teeth marks on middle edge back cover and the last 4 or 5 pages from my little dog. Other than that it's in good condition.
