This book is not what I expected it to be. Basically, it is a romance book set in India. I was very interested in the topic and thought it was going to be a deep book about the growing female infanticide problem in some parts of the world. However, it is really written like a romance novel. The characters and plot move along exactly as you expect them too with very little surprises. That said, I did enjoy the book enough to read it pretty quickly.

I agree with the first review. This book was not what I expected at all. It was basically a romance. Not bad if that's what you are looking for.
