The fantastic conclusion to the Farseer series, it will break your heart and then rebuild it for a happy ending. Very moving, and well worth reading.

Very entertaining, as I expected... Prince Dutiful has sworn to bring the head of the legendary dragon Icefyre to her mothers' hearth before he weds the Narcheska... but when he made that promise, he didn't realize that other Outislanders would object to the very idea of his slaying the dragon... It's a strange group that makes their way to the ice-covered island where the dragon is supposedly buried in a glacier - the Prince and his advisor Chade in favor of killing it... the Prince's Witted advisors against killing any animal... the Outisland lords, threatening revenge if it is killed... and FitzChivalry, not at all sure what the right path is.
To complicate things, the Fool has made his own way to the island, even though Fitz conspired to leave him behind after he confided that he knew that his destiny was to meet his death there...
And maybe the real question is, why did the Narcheska ask Dutiful to kill this dragon, anyway?

Loved it, loved it, loved it! It seems as if all those bad breaks Fitz was embrazened with earlier in his life have finally started going his way. But it wasn't easy!

From the Farseer Trilogy to the Tawny Man series...you will laugh, cry, brood and cheer for your favorite character. I wish I could skill like this cotrie!

I was rivited from the start and couldn't put it down. Long live Shadow Wolf!

This book was so good. It got me so emotional. Just like the other books in the series, once you pick it up you can't put it down. I'm really sad that the series has come to an end.

You have to read these series in the correct order to understand everything though-

1. Farseer Trilogy
2. The Liveship Traders
3. The Tawny Man

I LOVE Robin Hobb's writing! I experience the characters rather than reading about them.

I haven't read this book. I bought the Tawny Man series as a lot on e-bay and couldn't get into the first volume.
