Great book. I have followed this food plan successfully as a Christian for years. I belong to The Body Knows support group online through www.kaysheppard.com. I am not reposting this book as I order them for friends and give them away.

Explains how food addiction is not a lack of will power or behavioral problem but a physical disease with recognizable symptoms. Easily understood explanation on biogenetic and physiological components to food addiction. Provides a food plan for physical recovery.

Argues quite well that food addiction is similar to alcoholism, suggests individuals must abstain from addictive foods, and provides a lifetime eating plan. I found this book to be very informative and relevant.
