What a romp. Every science fiction reader should read this absolutely hilarious tale. In great shape.

A very amusing story of two 'magicians' who complete with one another. One, the off-worlder, doesn't understand how his actions to escape the planet, after he is cut off from his ship, violates "The Prime Directive." These actions set in place a sequence which transforms the 'medieval' society he finds on the planet.

A good, sci-fi novel with no bad guys.

This was an enjoyable read. The stranger was a space traveler and the things that happened to him and his ship!! Found myself laughing a few times over the antics of Shoogar trying to be the best.
