Helpful Score: 1
A Mark Teague-illustrated book is always special. This one reprises all the pictures we expect to see, such as multi-eyed aliens, ennui-laden pigs, frogs, dinosaurs, and non-plussed parents. The story is strictly ordinary, with next to no plot, sort of an American Schlarraffenland.
fantastic book with great Pics
Illustrated by Mark Teague, which is what makes it special. Like most of his books, this is best appreciated by examining the pictures carefully, so it doesn't make the ideal read-aloud in the classroom.
