By the author of "Flags of our Fathers", this account of the WWII action on Chichi Jima is graphic and complete. Told by the grandson of one of it's survivors, it is read by the author, unabridged, on 9 cassettes over 14 hours. While it is shocking, it is a compelling example of why we owe so much to our greatest generation.
