From flights with crop dusters to dangerous thunder storms, Rinker and Kern Buck have the experience of a life time when they rebuild a Piper Cub and fly it across the U.S, making them the youngest aviators to fly coast-to-coast without a radio.

This is a great adventure, coming of age story. It's the true story of 2 brothers who build a plane and then fly it across America in the mid 1960's. It's full of humor and ingenuity. A very entertaining read!

Excellent read about two schoolboys from New Jersey who flew a Piper Cub they rebuilt in their barn across country. Also brings out the challenges they boys faced getting along with each other and their father.
