The book had a exciting storyline; a good start to this new trilogy but it follows a familiar pattern from many of Feist's earlier works. Most of the time the plot was well laid out but once in while these was mixed in some confusion taking the place of suspense.

I enjoyed it for the most part and am looking forward to the second book.
