Good story, great characters. Love this whole set-up and the main people in the story. Wonderful cozy, good for the holidays. Loved Annie, really a wonderful addition to this story.

I enjoyed this mystery good storyline and like-able characters. There were a lot of characters to keep track of, I kept forgetting who was who's boyfriend, who was the real estate agent, etc. Maybe if I started with the first book in the series it wouldn't have been quite so confusing. All in all a good, quick read.

Holiday projects turn the House of Lambspun into a joy-filled Christmas season with a real lamb for the Christmas play and hand-made Christmas capes to be sold!! However, suddenly a hit-and-run "accident" leaves a librarian dead, and Kelly Flynn and all of her friends meet not only to knit for the season but to find clues to the murder suspect.
This one will keep the reader turning pages to the very end!!!

As always, Maggie Sefton has out done herself. This was one that kept me on the edge of my chair. I could not put this book down. I loved how I could not figure out the plot like Kelly did. The Christmas season and all ever so busy added to the plot and how Kelly was able to keep a cool head and do her best sleuthing ever.

It was another great book in the series by Maggie Sefton. I have them all and save them for both the patterns and recipes! Check these books out if you like mysteries and love to knit!

Well written -- moves right along and is enjoyable. A quick read.

Recipes are Maggie's Cinnamon Rolls, Pumpkin Nut Bread, Aunt Helen's Gingersnaps, Chocolate Pecan Rum Balls, Burt's Wassail (hot mulled wine), Maggie's Chocolate Mint Fudge & Carl's Doggy Christmas Cookies.
Knitting patterns are: Mittens, Sweetheart Gloves (has a chart), Ribbed Hat (in the round like it should be), 2 separate Christmas stockings, one of which has a chart that looks seriously messed up...... just to me at least.

"Is Marty going back for seconds already?"

Kelly Flynn and her friends from the House of Lambspun have amped things up for the holidays. Everyone is knitting furiously for the upcoming art and craft show. Juliet, the town's librarian, has handcrafted beautiful capes to sell at the shop. A newcomer steps on toes when she tries to steal Juliet's gentleman friend. She is of the prime suspect when Juliet is the victim of a hit and run murder.

Kelly and company do a little sleuthing and eventually come up with the killer.

This was a little more obvious than previous books. Still an enjoyable story and I will continue to read the series.

This book rivals Kate Kingsbury in writing Christmas books in general.

I love Kate Kingsbury. So to say that it rivals her, is a big deal! I loved this book. I had not read any previous books in this series and it was perfect as a standalone!

One heck of a murder mystery and it took me towards the end to figure the killer. I loved all of the characters and it was easy to remember who was who. Not too many that you became confused.
I loved that it took place in Colorado. The end of the book is full of recipes and surprisingly it had several knitting patterns including the actual patterns visually placed on the page.

You gotta include this in your Christmas TBR!
