Loved this book. It reminded me of a Dee Henderson book, which is my favorite Christian Fiction author.

Susan May Warren is a gifted author and this book is just more proof. Heartache, misunderstanding, danger, deception, and despair dog the steps of Lacey Montgomery. She feels trapped by the mistakes of her past and the hopelessness of her future. Without being sappy or settling for pat answers, Scripture is used for comfort and direction. In prayer Team Hope asks for direction and comfort. They also acknowledge the sovereignty of God by accepting the fact that they don't always understand (or like) how He works. I had a good guess as to who the bad guy was from the beginning, but I wasn't absolutely certain til the end. The conclusion is rather obvious, but it's action-packed suspense all the way there. This is a page-turner and a fun read. I'm waiting to receive #2!
