This book had it all! I loved the way Nevada wrote it with one chapter in present time, then the next about what had happened back in Civil War times at Fort Jefferson in the Dry Tortugas. Two mysteries in one and a real page turner!
Be sure to look up the Dry Tortugas on Maps before starting the book. Not only will you see where the fort is located, but there were about 50 beautiful photos that helped you feel like you were right there walking the fort with Anna Pigeon.
