I'm a fan of Martha Grimes' Richard Jury novels, but this one ,I wasn't too fond of. It was rather confusing story line. Maybe I was distracted when I read it.

Richard Jury is detective. The titles are the names of pubs in England. And you are always promised a thrilling read.

English mystery with Richard Jury
Grimes is a favorite; especially the Jury series. Great plot, character development; in essence, classical Grimes.
the first Richard Jury I've read. Great fun and a lot of sly humor, along with an enjoyable mystery
