Fun, fairly quick read. Fans of certain Andre Norton novels will like some of what happens near the end, but I won't say which ones to avoid spoiling the surprise.

Apparently Claremont also writes for Marvel Comics X-Men series.

Part of a series including "First Flight" and "Grounded", but still good by itself.

I agree that it's a fun, quick read -- I liked it enough to read the whole series. Nicole is an interesting character, even if the plot is somewhat comic-book like. Recommended.
