This was a very good book, best read slowly. Except the last story (Tristan and Iseult). That is 1) not a first love story and 2) not a very good version of it. It just went on and on and was not good. Not a pleasant way to end the book, and I considered not keeping it because of that story.
The others, however, are delightful and lyric tellings of first love myths. Well worth reading, and I kept to reread sometime.
