I was extremely disappointed in this book. There are few topics here that aren't covered in most other basic to intermediate writing books. For the most part, the author simply tells you to write well--rules that should apply to everything one writes anyway. If you think this is going to help you figure out how to hook a reader, agent, or editor, you'll be disappointed.

I have found the same information in other places. I did not find it particularly useful.
