This was an excellent book! I usually don't get into the heartfelt stories that much, but this book touched me. I couldn't wait to pass it along to my friends to listen. If you have ever had a best friend or a teenage daughter you will enjoy the book and will be able to relate to the story. It made me both laugh out loud in my car and cry. A must listen to.

OMG what a great story. Brought be back to my teenage years since I was born in 1960 also. I cried towards the end but it ended very nicely.

The whole career woman without a personal life vs the haggard restless stay at home mom story is just a little tired and this doesn't offer any unique insights. The ending is way too sappy. However, the characters and events are interesting enough to make it an enjoyable read overall.
