This is the first Jeff Wheeler book that I've read. I really enjoyed this fantasy novel - it features great characterization and fascinating world-building. It sucked me in, and while I usually have at least two books going at once, I found myself compulsively reading this one, while the other went by the wayside. I'm looking forward to the next one!
