This is a great book. Easy to read and is the same quality that you expect from Paretsky. The wise and forever funny Warshawski comes thru in this book as a real person who always has her feet in trouble. Hard to put this book down as I was wanting to read what the final outcome was.

Anyone who loves VI Warshawski will agree that this is another great read by Sara Paretsky.
Excellent, fast paced read-couldn't put it down! My favorite Warshawski novel so far.
I just recently discovered Sara Paretsky & V.I. Warshawski. I love mysteries with female sleuths, so I was happy to stumble onto another author. What makes this particular author and this book stand out to me is that workers rights and the labor movement have such a presence. All too often, unions & union workers are only mentioned in passing, often the butt of a joke. It's refreshing to see an author incorporate such an important part of our society into a well-written story. I, for one, will continue to read books written by Paretsky.
Sara Paretsky's V.I. Warshawski always provides enjoyable listening during a long drive.
I did not like this book. Too long and boring
This was my first time reading a V.I. Warshawski novel and I believe it will be my last. Did not like it at all
Loved it, classic Paretsky!
This book was a page turner it kept me up until 2AM.
My first introduction to V.I. Warshawski novels and I found this one to be extremely engaging and well written. I will definitely read more of Sara Paretsky's novels.

V.I. is up to her usual, fast-paced investigative mode here, even ending up in a land fill! Paretsky braids together several interlocking plot lines before revealing the truth!
