Hhhmmm...I'm a big Lauren Dane fan, but this book was boring for me. There was some excitement as well as sadness at the end but otherwise the book was 'eh'.

The story is the progression of the relationship of Rain and Laurent (3rd in command of the Cherchez wolf pack). Rain's father is a mob boss and Rain doesn't want to follow in that lifestyle expected of her so she runs. Laurent and Rain meet in a diner, get together, she's introduced to werewolves, they marry, and live HEA. Yes, I'm oversimplifying the story...but there's not much more that happens.
