This biography tells the juicy details of the talented artist, James Taylor. It tracks his history as a musician, as a person, and as a celebrity. From his early days as a struggling songwriter/drug user/womanizer to his later years of broken marriages, into the present, a time when we see Mr. Taylor waking up to achieve something closer to his real potential as a human being.

I wanted more from this book than I got. It seems the author could have made this book a lot shorter by skipping some pretty extraneous stuff. Just fell short of my expectations. Mostly a repeated refrain of poor little rich boy-melancholy-spoiled little rich boy-drugs-sex-more sex-drugs-blah blah blah
