This author is a favorite of mine and I was really looking forward to this book. It is the first in a while to turn me off. I couldn't connect to the characters and the sex was just too over the top. There was just sex, no substance. I have the follow-up in my TBR pile and I may pass on it.

A quick read, especially if you skim over the many, many, many sex parts. I liked the character Robert, and couldn't quite connect with the teenage one (and why if he didn't want to emphasize the age difference did Robert keep calling Sam "Sammy?") Like Sam's father I couldn't see they had much going except for the many, many, many sex episodes.
