I thought this book would be a bunch of "I hate women" schlock, but I was wrong! This book is a very level headed look at what it meant to be a man going into 1991. I found myself being questioned, but not given the answers, which I liked. This book asks all the probing questions but it is up to us to seek the answers. Are the answers there? Maybe, but probably not, it is the seeking that is important. And although it was published in '91, I believe it is a bit timeless. It put a great many things into perspective, many things that shape modern men that up till now I was unconscious of.
