I read this book quite some time ago but remember it to have some very sad parts. The inside cover says this 'Fine Things is a tale of survival, drama, and powerful caring... It is a tale of loss, survival, adn the price we sometimes pay for loving.'
Danielle Steele NEVER writes a bad book this one is excellent
Internationally renowned novelist Danielle Steel, continues to surpass her previous triumphs with Fine Things, her 17th consecutive best seller. Fine Things is a very different book for Danielle Steel; it's setting is contemporary, its central character a man we come to know and love as she tells his story. (as per inside of book) I loved this book. It was a book that I couldn't put down. Very very touching story.
Story of how a man's life is turned topsy turvey by fate, and how he deals with facing life without the woman he loves, while remaining strong for his children
A book of men and women swept up in bewidering changes and seeking solutions to problems never faced before.
the story of a man whose life is turned topsy-turvy by one of fate\'s sharp turns, and he must suddenly face life without the woman he loves, while remaining strong for his children.
I have read this book twice and both times it had me in tears. I think that it is a very good book and Danielle Steel is a very talented writer.
Seemed slow at first but wait it out...I'm glad I did - tear jerker.
As college ends for Bernie, he thinks he is ready to become a teacher in a private school, but he needed to get a master's degree. Meanwhile, he takes a job at a clothing store. His ideas catch the eye of the manager and his life is transformed. His rise in the clothing industry is beyond recognition. He deals with marriage, the death of a wife, taking care of children, and meeting a lady he falls in love with. Many emotions are brought to you in this book.

This is typical Steel - a nice fluffy easy read, with the predictable happy ending. A good mindless read for after a long day.

I love a good Danielle Steel.
As usual Danielle Steel has a great story.
This is different for Danielle Steele. A man is the main character who overcomes all the tragedy. Made it interesting. A character I'd really like to know. A good guy.
good reading
