a style that brings to mind Mark Twain, Art Buchwald, and Garrison Keillor. This is a book about the tales of the outdoor life with a sense of humor. I have all the books Patrick McManus has written, I love them! I found I had two copies of this one so put on on here for someone else to enjoy. I went to a one-man show of this man's books, I never laughed so hard in my life. I just wish I could go again, but alas he only does shows in the Northwest and I now live in the east. If you know a hunter or fisherman who can laugh at himself or at his buddies this is the book for them.

Another hilarious McManus book. All of the ones I have read are so good, you will want to read them over and over again. You will even find yourself reading some of the passages and stories to friends, because they are too funny to keep to yourself.

Patrick McManus is the king of outdoor humor. His tales with crazy Eddie Muldoon and Retch Sweeney May not be sophisticated enough for you high-brow types but for us good ol' country boys they are always good for a laugh.
