While this book is not as enjoyable as her first book, Valerie Bertinelli writes about losing weight and then wondering what to do with her life once she's accomplished that. She shares her stress factors, what she found that works and more insight into large weight loss and maintaining that weight loss. Good book !

This is Valerie's second book, a follow up to "Losing It". I enjoyed reading her first book and was amazed of her struggle with food. Now that she has the bikini body she dreamed of and is more in touch with her faith (whatever that may be) she explains what she learned by going through with the bikini covenant and how she maintains her weight. This is a fast read, inspirational at times; if you are looking for some phenomenal reveal, this is not the book.

I think her first book was better.

Maintenance. After Valerie loses 40 pounds she wants to keep it off. This is her struggle to keep the weight off. Its has some valid points but the thing I keep coming back to is that she gets her hair done "every 12 days". I am not sure why this bothers me since I have my roots done too, usually every 10 weeks. Glad I read the book though.
