Though I never saw this series, as a genealogist I admire the author so when I came across the book, I very much wanted to read it. The book did a good job of describing the search process for each famous guest of the show, relying on family stories, actual records, history, and DNA to piece together the family history of each person. I especially enjoyed the parts where they explained the DNA results; it makes me want to learn a lot more about DNA.
