What do you do when life hands you the unexpected?

In Finding Jeena, author Miralee Ferrell allows readers to peek into the life of Jeena Gregory, a self-sufficient career woman that has no place for religion or God. That is until she finds herself in the most unlikely place. Although this place appears to be the pit, it turns out to put her a path to wholeness and renewed faith in God and mankind.

The book held my interest but I felt the Ms Ferrell spent a lot of time building the story of Jeena's peril. Only to have it wrap so quickly and neatly in the end of the book. This was my first time reading any of the author's work but would consider reading more from her and would certainly like to hear more of Jeena's story. After reading this book, the reader will find themselves examining their own lives.
