How I went to college, developed a conscience, became far less shallow, fell in love, lost the girl, became a doctor, and became a REAL doctor - all in one really small book! The author kindly changed all the names to protect the guilty in this lovely book about hos own personal development. I enjoyed "seeing" him grow from a completely self-centered teen-ager (they ALL are!) into a man of whom his family can be very proud. Do you know any young people who strongly tell everyone they know that they are going to become a doctor? Give them and their family this book! Should be required reading in high school - not for the style of the writing but for the intellectual and spiritual growth of the writer. Yes, I enjoyed this book, thank you very much!
