Interesting use of epic poetry, reminiscent of classic poetry. Beautiful sepia tinted illustrations.
The third one of the Trilogy. I loved this set and it is in my personal library. I keep referring back to it, because of the way this author presents the story of the Great Controversy between Christ and Satan.

Not as good as the first two in this series, but still very good, The Finale completes Calvin Miller's The Singer Trilogy (The Singer, The Song, and The Finale). This poetic narrative reads like a tale told by bards long ago and concludes the larger story of the Singer and his Song. Just as CS Lewis's The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe provides a moving metaphor for the Christian Gospel, so The Singer, The Song, and The Finale do the same. This is a story of incarnation and redemption.
