Its a shame that this book isnt enjoyable. The message and challenge could be very inspiring but it derails to the condemning and negative. Briner points out that Christians have not influenced the American media and marketplace for the glory of Christ as powerfully as God has called us to. Christians should be making the best: music, movies, TV shows, business deals, etc.. but as of now we have failed to fully realize this potential. Changing the world and promoting Christ by using our God given talents is a great opportunity and something we should be excited about! Sadly, the late Briner says, America should be ashamed several times in the first part of the book and seeks to send us into a deep guilt. I dont see the benefit in this delivery. Mistakes have been made and opportunities lost, lets move forward and encourage each other while we do it. I do not recommend this book. Ill just leave you with this; love Christ and bring him with you wherever your workplace is.
