I bought this book at the White Sands Nat'l Monument gift shop, when I was on vacation. It is based on a true story, and is a testament to the toughness of women living on isolated desert ranches in the early 20th century.

This is a very interesting book; concerns the life of a woman in early Tucson. Very explicit and detailed, giving facts just like it was! It's a little depressing!
