This book, which I've never heard of, or the author, turned out to be a GREAT read for me.

Every few years, 5 people are sacrificed in a US town. Cults, mystery, 6th senses, ruggedly good looking men, love, lust, the whole nine yards - this was equivalent to even the best Nora Roberts mystery for me.
