I only began reading this book because I thought I might learn some more Florida history, but didn't think I would enjoy it that much. Boy, was I wrong. Not only were the histories of the individual cemeteries interesting, but so were almost all of the "featured dead person (or animal)" for each cemetery. The only exception might be the very last featured dead person and her lover. I felt that story was exceptionally creepy. So perhaps it was fitting I read that part on Halloween Day.
