I just finished "Fidelity" by thomas Perry. He is one of my favorite all time mystery writers. I could nott put this book down. I loved how he develops characters, twist in the plot and how respectful and intuitive he is with his descriptions of women. He portrayed a killer as heartless and with a love he could not have and how he attempted to please this woman. I had mixed feelings but felt sad at the end for the killer. One of his best. dancer.
Great book--Perry is one of my favorite authors.
Dull and unappetizing. Conversely, I have enjoyed Thomas Perry's Jane Whitefield series and would recommend it.
An eye opener of a book. Thank you Thomas Perry.
For me this was a very boring book. It started out with interest but it didn't take long to figure out it is just filled with narration and not enough dialogue and it is very very slow.
The storyline just didn't move along at a good clip and didn't give you much to keep going after each chapter. It has a lot of repeat and repeat in it and a lot of nonsense that just isn't necessary to move the story along, the ending? not to give anything away but it just got to the point that I didn't much care what 'the secret' was that Forest was hiding and it didn't shock me but just made me realize it's a story done before, I skipped and skimmed after the half way mark because it was so tedious to read all the repeat over and over
