Although I love the series and was excited to see a new book, this was my least favorite of the Newsflesh novels. The beginning was slow, and seemed more like a political thriller set in zombieland. There were far too many lengthy descriptions of test kits and whether they hurt or tingled.
The last part of the novel almost felt like an add-on story, but it was the most exciting part of the book.
I did enjoy this book. In fairness, I am being somewhat harsh in my review because the other books were 5-star reads for me.
